Appraising Leadership – Art of Weight Loss

The Art of Weight Loss is based upon a simple idea.

It applies the time-tested principles behind Sun Tzu’s Art of War to weight loss.

So, let’s sit back, relax and learn more about The Art of Weight Loss.

Appraising Leadership (Exploring the Leaders Around and the Leader Within You)

Ask yourself this question:

  • Do you have a purpose that encourages you to surround yourself with great leaders and to develop great leadership skills within yourself?

What Is Leadership?

A leader is a person who rules, guides, or inspires others.

Who Are The Leaders In Your Life?

  • In other words, who are the people who rule, guide or inspire you?
  • Are these leaders positive or negative?
  • What are their qualifications to serve as a leader?

All too often, the people we use as our leaders; as the sources of our inspiration do not have very good qualifications to serve as our leaders.

Just take a look at the celebrity pages of the news.  All too often, the attention is devoted to the celebrities who set the worst examples. The attention is devoted to the celebrities we should NOT follow.

Why Is This?

It’s because celebrities sell.  The more sensational the story; the more it sells.

Unfortunately we are being sold garbage.

We are being sold “food” (in this case leadership) that is not worthy of being consumed.

So, What Are We To Do?

The answer is simple.  We must choose to ignore these bad external “leaders” and to pay more attention to positive leaders.

Positive leaders are out there.  Trust me.  They are out there.

We just have to look for them and we have to pay attention to them.

Furthermore, we must develop positive leadership skills within ourselves.  Quite often, the best leader we can find to lead us in a given task is ourselves.

Gandhi Said It Best

Gandhi said: You must be the change you wish to see in the world . . .

In other words, if we want the world to change for the better, we must lead by example.

We must develop leadership skills within ourselves.

If we do, we will succeed.  If we don’t, we will fail.

It truly is that simple.

As his 50th birthday grew nearer, Stanley decided enough was enough. He was tired of living a life of obesity.

Since February 2009, Stanley has dropped from a weight of 320 pounds to the mid-190s.  He has gone from a life of inactivity to walking a half-marathon daily and full marathons on many weekends.

His latest book in what he calls his “iWarriorWalk Pathfinder Series” is designed to help people ask (and answer) key questions about themselves.  Stanley believes that the only way We The People of the United States are going to solve our problems (especially the growing problem of obesity) is by asking the right questions and by coming up with appropriate answers.

Through Foundation EON, he hopes to help you (and America) do just that.
